Absolute exclusions

Pregnant or nursing women. Anyone under 18. Anyone with a diagnosed arrhythmia or uncontrolled high blood pressure. These are not cautions to weigh against benefits — there is no version of this product appropriate for these groups.

Speak to a doctor first

Anyone taking medication for blood pressure, heart rhythm, thyroid function, diabetes, anxiety or depression. Anyone with a history of panic disorder, a heart condition, liver disease or kidney disease. Anyone being treated for an eating disorder. Show your doctor or pharmacist the actual label, not a summary.

Probably not worth it for you

Anyone who is caffeine-sensitive, since the primary mechanism is the thing you react to. Anyone with existing sleep problems, because a stimulant will worsen the appetite dysregulation that poor sleep already causes. Anyone who trains exclusively in the evening, since the timing works against you.

If you are in any of these groups
